2008: New factory building in Třebíč and table manufacturing for IKEA in Klatovy

• New factory building is finalized. Two plants in Třebíč are merged.
• JITONA has got a significant contract for table manufacturing for IKEA in Klatovy plant.
• Terminal part of restructuralization process in Rousínov. The Rousínov plant is going to be closed in July 31, 2008.
  

2007: Merger of Companies and Significant Investments

• Implementation of the planned merger of JITONA a.s., Soběslav and Tusculum a.s., Rousínov. As of 1 February the business name of the company is JITONA a.s.
• Specialization of the Rousínov plant in the production of upholstered furniture and preparation for the implementation of the high gloss surface treatment technology.
• Planned merger of the operations in the Třebíč plant that will speed up the material flow, reduce costs and indicators of internal low quality

2006: Continuation of the Company's Decentralization Process

• Successful presentation at the Furniture Trade Fair in Nitra (Slovakia) 2006
• Beginning of the merger process of JITONA a.s. and Tusculum a.s. (completed on 1 February 2007)
• Introduction of the Malta bedroom model into the production programme. It has become the best-selling bedroom model.
• Development of a successful collection of new models for the MOW exhibition in Germany. The bedroom models Tempio, Arosa, Ole, Soeren and the living room model Verano of this collection are being introduced successfully.
• Completion of the project “Development Centre at Each Plant“

  

• Successful acquisition of new customers, in particular in Great Britain, but also in the Czech and Slovak Republics

2003 – 2005: Jointly on the market

• JITONA purchases 100 shares of the Tusculum a.s. company and starts the process of integration of both companies that culminates with the merger in 2007.

1991: Year of privatizations

• JITONA was privatized in February
• UP závody Rousínov company was privatized in June

1954: Spojené UP závody start to produce the “U” line

• Spojené UP závody (the Joint Artistic and Industrial Plants) start to produce the “U” line that culminates with the Universal model in the seventies – the best selling furniture set in the world.

1951:Establishment of JITONA n.p. in Soběslav.

• Establishment of JITONA n.p. (a state-owned enterprise) based in Soběslav.

1937: Spojené UP závody becomes the largest manufacturer

• Spojené UP závody (the Joint Artistic and Industrial Plants) becomes the largest furniture manufacturer in Europe

1920: Establishment of the Spojené UP závody company

• Establishment of the Spojené UP závody company (the Joint Artistic and Industrial Plants).
